Bhangarh is a small village in the state of Rajasthan in India, which is famous for its haunted stories and the ruined fort that stands in the middle of the village. Bhangarh is located in the Alwar district, about 80 kilometers away from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The village is surrounded by hills on three sides and is home to a number of temples, and palaces.

As we drove towards Bhangarh, the first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful landscape that surrounded us. The Aravalli hills looked magnificent as the sun began to set. As we entered the village, we could see the ruins of the fort standing tall in the distance. We parked our car and walked towards the entrance of the fort.

The first thing that struck me was the eerie silence that hung in the air. The fort was deserted, and there was no sign of life around us. As we walked through the ruins, we could see the remnants of the old palace, the temples, and the market. The fort had been abandoned for centuries, and it was clear that nature had taken over. Trees and vines had grown over the walls, and the stones had weathered away.

When walked deeper into the fort, we came across a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the monkey god. It is said that the temple is the only place in the fort that is still worshipped. The temple was simple, with no decoration or embellishment. But the atmosphere was peaceful, and I could feel a sense of calmness wash over me.

We continued our exploration of the fort and came across a well. It is said that the well was cursed and anyone who tried to draw water from it would meet a gruesome end. Legend has it that a wizard had cursed the well because he was refused permission to marry the princess of Bhangarh. We looked down the well and could see nothing but darkness.

As we made our way toward the palace, we noticed that the atmosphere was changing. It was getting colder, and a sense of unease was creeping up on us. We entered the palace and could see the remnants of the royal quarters. The palace was grand, with large courtyards and intricate carvings on the walls. But it was clear that the palace had been abandoned for a long time. The walls were covered in moss, and the ceilings had caved in.

When we made our way toward the top of the palace, we noticed that there were no doors or windows. It was as if the palace had been sealed off from the outside world. The atmosphere was getting more oppressive, and we could feel a sense of dread creeping up on us. We decided to leave the palace and make our way back to the entrance.

While we were just exploring the area suddenly my phone started to ring, while it was on silent mode, it shocked all of us and we all were numb for a moment. it was the first time that such a thing has happened to me, and I do not have any explanation for it. Some people will say it can be a spirit or an entity who did this, I have it recorded on a video sooner or later I will put it here.

While walking back, we noticed that the village had come to life. People were bustling about, and there was a sense of activity in the air. It was as if we had stepped into a different world. We spoke to the villagers and asked them about the haunted stories of Bhangarh. They laughed and told us that it was just a myth. They said that the fort was abandoned because of a famine that had hit the village, and the villagers had moved to a nearby town for survival.

As we drove back toward Jaipur, I couldn’t help but think about the stories that surrounded Bhangarh. What just happened with my phone I was just thinking Was it really haunted, or was it just a myth? I couldn’t say for sure, but one thing was certain – Bhangarh was a place that had a unique charm and an air of mystery around it. The ruined fort and the haunted stories made it a place that was definitely worth visiting.
